This is one of our largest projects to date. A double extension and overhaul of the existing building ,taking the property from a 2 bed to a 4 bed with garage. Our clients were looking to move out to the property with their young family and we were tasked with completing the build within 12 months. We worked closely with the clients to understand what they wanted, to adapt when their minds changed and to advise on materials to get the look they were after meeting the budget available.
Internally, we tore out the existing kitchen and all bathrooms, blocked up unused patio doors, made existing doors larger, changed windows for patio doors to bring more light into the property and to give additional access to the garden. We made the fire place wider to house a TV, built a custom made kitchen bar the same size as a large dining table to create a family hub and we retiled & plastered/painted throughout.
